Distinctives of Our Christian Worldview

We Christians have a distinctive set of convictions about the way things are that sets us apart from the world's ways of looking at life. That distinctiveness includes the philosophies and theologies of non-Christian religions. We call these different ways of looking at reality a worldview. If one understands the worldview of someone, one can better account for the ways they think and act. It is important not be be muddle-minded about our Christian worldview, informed and shaped by the revelation of God, if we are maintain our distinctiveness in the world and not be seduced by the philosophies of it. And also to better understand how best to witness to various unbelievers, it is most helpful to know at what fundamental points we as Christian part company with various worldviews driving the people about us.
