() What does obedience look like “on Monday morning”? As Jesus said in John 6:29, obedience is believing in the One whom God has sent. Thus, the Scriptures are abundantly clear that we are saved by God’s grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone. But as Martin Luther said, the faith that saves us is not alone. A living faith always manifests itself in obedience, just as life is verified by a pulse. Thus, obedience is the flip side of faith. These passages will help us better understand this reality.
