What the Miracles of Our Lord Teach Us

20 August 2019 - 16 September 2019

In the miracle narratives of the Gospels we have a great window into the person and work of Jesus Christ as well as insight into the life of faith. Many of these miracles were intended as fulfillment of specific messianic signs forecast by the prophet Isaiah (61), but more than that, they were (and remain) signs of His amazing grace and unlimited power to redeem the believing from all the effects of our native corruption, not only the physical, but most importantly, the spiritual. A sign is like a camel that carries on its back a message about who this person is and what He can do. By studying the miracles, we not only learn Jesus, but also about the walk of faith as it intersects with His grace and power.
