    Unfortunately some people use the imprecatory psalms as an excuse to take the name of God in vain, ignoring the 3rd commandment, and what the New Testament says about our love for each other, as God loves us,and our speech to all.

      Thanks for your reminder, Dennis. Remember that taking the name of God in vain entails more than mere cussing. Rather, it concerns speaking about Him in any way that diminishes His existence, deity, or omnipotence, just to name a few.
