There’s nothing chintzy or cheap about what God has done for us. 1 Cor. 1:5 says, “that in everything, you were enriched in Him, in all speech and all knowledge.” Those who teach the doctrine of the second work of grace are quite wrong, making it appear that the believer isn’t empowered for service, but just saved and forgiven . . . and that’s about it. This is a slander against the Holy Spirit.
